Cold-blooded and ruthless -- the perfect qualities for an assassin. She has perfected the She-Quan Snake Fist style for her kills. As a fellow assassin, Bayman is her rival. However, she absolutely needs the high hit count as her excellent poke game does very little damage on its own. Her evasion moves and string interruptions paired with her chain strategy mentioned below mean this awesome character is definitely not for beginners.

Christie is based on three key skills: Poke, Evade, Chain. Beware though, Christie's go-to combo starters essentially hammering punch are all MID, meaning if you throw it out without a plan you're likely to get countered.

Evade, on the other hand, is all about getting out of danger. Her Evasion stance Jakeiho is a major new addition to her move set; at first it seems slightly pointless and just there for one or two moves, but stick with it.

You can use the evasion stance to interrupt your own combo strings, switching your attacks instantly and safeguarding yourself from a lot of counters.

With a llittle practice, Christie excels at chaining from combo to critical burst onto Power blow. This will put safely put your opponent on the stun limit and turn them back around. From here you can critical burst and straight into Power blow. If it isn't clear by now, the Jakeiho evasion stance is critical to Christie's game. It has to be part of your game, both as an offensive tool and to limit the amount of counter-gifts you give your opponent.

Use it as a feint to stop your string, let the opponent try to counter thin air and resume your attack with Hi Counter damage. Christie's massive combos will rack up your arcade and survival scores like no other fighter can, so she's a great character for attempting high scores.

She's not best suited to time attack though as a lot of her techniques are very long to execute, wasting you precious seconds. She can score openings and rack up the hits while benefitting from their damage output to keep her out of danger.
